15th Annual Day Celebrations

Vishnu Institute of Technology celebrated its 15th Annual Day in grand style on 29.04.2023. Mr. Avnish Kumar Goel, Director (R&D) of Multinational Company Mavenir Systems was the Chief Guest and Sri. K.V. Vishnu Raju, Chairman of Vishnu Educational Society, was the Guest of Honour.

In this program, Mr. Avnish Kumar Goel said that in accordance with the revolutionary changes coming in the field of technology, he suggested that the educated should adopt advanced methods. He said that the students should show talent in other fields besides studies. Citing himself as an example from Electrical Engineering background, he advised students to excel in all fields by connecting different departments like Computer Science and Information Technology and reaching a higher level after graduating in Electrical Engineering.

In this program, Sri Vishnu Society Chairman Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju Garu said that students who aim to get a job after completing engineering should make a strong effort for success in campus placements and should learn to speak English without hesitation. For that, they should be well trained in soft skills, coding, communication skills and aptitude. He proudly said that Vishnu Institute of Technology is ranked sixth in Andhra Pradesh. Vishnu Education Society has an MOU with New Brunswick University, Canada and Binghamton University, USA and as a result three VIT students have been sent to those Universities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director and Principal Dr. D Surayanarayana said that in this competitive world the challenge to engineering students is not only to pass exams but also get jobs, which was possible only by mastering various technical aspects. He said that achieving NBA, NAAC and Autonomous status in a very short period of time is a proof of the development of Vishnu Institute of Technology. He thanked the management and staff of the college for their full cooperation in the development of the college. He said that this year the students got 1266 job opportunities in various multinational companies among which Rajitha, a Computer Science student, is proud to get a job in a company called "Light Beam" with a package of 35 lakhs per annum. He informed that his students have got more than hundred internships in various multinational organizations. In this program, 42 teaching and non-teaching staff who completed ten years of service in the college were felicitated. Later, alumni who excelled in various fields were felicitated. Later, alumni of all departments shared their experiences and gave guidance to the current students.

In this program, certificates shields and medals were presented to the students who achieved the best results in our cellege and to the students who won various sports competitions. As a part of this program, cultural programs were performed enthusiastically by students and entertained everyone.

Director (Admin) Prasad Raju, AGM Ramesh Raju, Vice Principal Professor K. Srinivas, various college principals, vice principals, heads of various departments of the college, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents of students and students participated in the program and made the program a grand success.
