One-Week Hands-on Training Program on VLSI Design and Verification

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) successfully conducted a One-Week Hands-on Training Program on VLSI Design and Verification in collaboration with TARAS Systems and Solutions, Bangalore supported by Tessolve Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. scheduled from 17/03/2025 to 22/03/2025. This program was designed to provide students with industry-relevant exposure, hands-on experience in Verilog, System Verilog, and UVM, and insights into the latest trends in VLSI design and verification methodologies. This training program was organized by Dr. B V V Satyanarayana, Co-convener and Centre for VLSI Design Coordinator, ensuring a structured and insightful learning experience for the participants.

The Inaugural Function was held on 17/03/2025, graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Principal Dr. M Venu, Vice-Principal Prof. M Srilakshmi, HOD/ECE and Convener Prof. K Srinivas, other HODs and Deans and delivered an insightful address, emphasizing the significance of VLSI in modern technology and encouraging students to leverage the learning opportunities provided through this program.

The training program provided a great learning platform, and students benefited significantly from interacting with industry experts. The internship and placement opportunities arising from this initiative will further strengthen our students' career prospects in the VLSI domain.

The Valedictory Function was held on 22/03/2025, attended by the Vice-Principal, HOD/ECE and HOD/EEE. Students actively participated and shared their experiences, providing excellent feedback on the practical exposure and industry insights gained. The resource persons were appreciated for their engaging sessions, and the program concluded on a high note with vote of thanks by the convener Prof. K Srinivas.
