The Department of Civil Engineering is delighted to announce that our faculty members, Dr. M. Teja and Ms. B. Mary Devika, together with four III Year students -Bandaru Lakshmi Narasimha, Alla Rohit Sai Reddy, Bothsa Chinna, and Mallula Shaleem Raj recently participated in a prestigious 5-day "Hands-On Workshop & International Symposium on Computational Design and Digital Fabrication" organized by the Department of Architecture at the School of Planning & Architecture Vijayawada (SPAV). Through intensive, hands-on sessions, participants gained valuable experience in advanced tools such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and Wasp, as well as digital fabrication workflows and prototyping with Creality slicing software. The symposium's final day featured eminent global speakers sharing insights into circular manufacturing, sustainable 3D concrete printing, experimental digital design, and the role of robotics in architectural automation. This enriching event not only fostered creativity and innovation but also empowered our students and faculty with essential skills in modern computational design and digital construction, aligning them with emerging trends in engineering and architecture.
