Examinations

Vishnu Institute of Technology estrablished a good infrastructure to conduct University and various examinations. In view of the continuous evaluation of students, two mid examinations and end examinations at regular intervals are conducted officially. In addition, college conducts subject wise slip tests to help students brush up their knowledge and prepares them to fare well in the final examinations.

Exam Cell Roles & Responsibilities

The examination cell of the college is the most active and vibrant body which remains active throughout the year. This wing is strengthened with good number of well trained, dedicated and work minded people. Apart from holding university exams regularly, the cell looks after the evaluation work assigned by the university. The examination cell plays a very active role in practical examination and internal exams like departmental and class tests. It also collaborates with the department concern for individual student result analysis.

Objective: To help the smooth conduct of exams in the Institute

Examination Rules

Instructions to Candidates
  • Candidates are not allowed into the examination hall without Halltickets and Identity cards.
  • Candidates are allowed to enter the examination hall 15 minutes before the scheduled time of the examination and they will not be allowed after the commencement of the examination.
  • Candidates are not allowed to bring Mobile phones, Cameras, Bluetooth devices, Programmable calculators, unauthorized material etc.
  • Candidates are not permitted to share calculators or any other materials during the examination.
  • Answers must be legibly written using blue/black pen.
  • Read the instructions carefully that are provided in the answer booklet before start answering the questions.
  • Nothing should be written on the question paper except Hall ticket number.
Malpractices & Punishments
  • The Principal shall refer the cases of malpractices in internal assessment tests and semester end examinations to a malpractice enquiry committee constituted by him for the purpose. Such committee shall follow the approved levels of punishment. The Principal shall take necessary action against the erring students based on the recommendations of the committee.
  • Any action by the candidate trying to get undue advantage in the performance or trying to help another, or derive the same through unfair means is punishable according to the provisions.
  • The involvement of the staff, who are in charge of conducting examinations, valuing examination papers and preparing / keeping records of documents related to the examinations in such acts (inclusive of providing incorrect or misleading information) that infringe upon the course of natural justice to one and all concerned at the examination shall be viewed seriously and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken after thorough enquiry.
