One-Week Workshop on Modern Surveying Techniques: Total Station and DGPS The Department of Civil Engineering, Vishnu Institute of Technology, Bhimavaram, successfully organized a one-week workshop on "Modern Surveying Techniques: Total Station and DGPS." Conducted by experts from Unique Survey Solutions, the workshop provided hands-on training to 64 students, enhancing their skills in modern surveying tools.

Surveying Instruments & Setup - Tripod, bubble, tilt setting, and pole handling.
Distance & Height Measurement - MLM method, remote height determination.
Topographical & Resection Survey - Mapping physical features and locating unknown points.
Data Processing & AutoCAD Integration - Importing, analyzing, and using field data.
DGPS Survey - High-precision positioning using base and rover stations.

The workshop received excellent feedback for its practical approach, equipping students with essential surveying techniques.
