Engineers' Day Celebrations

The Department of Basic Science successfully hosted 'Engineers' Day' on 14 September 2024 for first-year B.Tech students. This comprehensive event included various activities designed to foster innovation and honor the contributions of Mokshagundam Visweswaraiah to engineering.

Competitions such as Pitch Your Ideas, PPT Presentations, Poster Presentation, Movie Discussion, Group Discussions, and JAM sessions were held, attracting a total of 140 students. The high level of enthusiasm and participation from the students was noteworthy. Faculty members acted as judges, offering valuable feedback and insights throughout the events.

During the afternoon session, Principal Dr. Venu delivered an inspiring speech in tribute to Mokshagundam Visweswaraiah, highlighting the importance of making positive societal contributions through engineering. Head of Department Dr. V. Rama Devi also spoke, emphasizing the crucial role of creativity and expressiveness in engineering.

The event was carefully planned and executed by Dr.K.Pushpa Valli, Dr. D. Vijayalakshmi and their team, ensuring its success. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants, coordinators, the team VIT, and the management for their essential contributions to making Engineers' Day a success.
