MANAGING BEST PRACTICES

A best practice is often not what everyone else is doing, but is what is possible to achieve. Here is our list:

  • Student counseling's are effectively conducted.
  • Campus Recruitment Training through ELEPHOS and TIME are conducted for the students of 3rd & 4th years.
  • MOUs with Industries nearby.
  • Encouraging students to go for higher studies through GATE / GRE / TOEFL coaching by expert faculty.
  • Department conducts regular faculty meetings for review of academics and follow-up actions are initiated.
  • Guest lectures by Academicians & Industrial Experts.
  • Interaction with Alumni.
  • Course Handouts for every year are distributed to students.
  • Sponsoring of faculty for Higher Studies / Seminars / Workshops / Publications.
  • Course files for every subject are maintained in the department.
  • Encouraging the students to present technical papers in Seminars/Workshops.
  • Experiments beyond prescribed syllabus are included for each Laboratory class.
  • Remedial classes are being conducted to improve the student academic performance.
