As a part of VALIANT-2k17, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Vishnu Institute of Technology, organised Vishnu Nitro Championship-2k17 (VNC-2k17), that attracted participants from different parts of our country. Radio controlled cars or R/C cars, as they are commonly known, are powered by small internal combustion engines fueled by a special mixture of nitro-methane, methanol and oil. VNC-2k17 provided the students a learning experience and gave them a chance to understand about chassis design, steering and suspension mechanisms. The event was also a platform for the students to interact with each other, enabled them to share and exchange their ideas.
The first day of the event started with technical inspection, followed by performance test, wheelie and donut. On the second day, endurance test was conducted.
