Chairman's Interaction with the Freshman
Chairman Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju interacted with the students and parents of I B.Tech (2016-2020) on 14 July 2016. The I B.Tech class work having just begun, it was the right time for an interaction with the parents and students. In the scenario of a knowledge based society and highly effervescent technological developments influencing education, it was imperative to provide a road map for both the students and their parents. In his address Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju outlined the opportunities to be availed of, challenges to be faced and the responsibilities to be taken up. He outlined the scope of engineering education where distinctions between various disciplines were blurred and education was becoming interdisciplinary.
The program began with the welcome address of Director and Principal of Vishnu Institute of Technology, Dr.D.Suryanarayana. Vice Chairman Sri R.Ravichandran stressed on the need for conceptual education in engineering. He also highlighted the need to develop skills to carry oneself professionally in both education and at the workplace. Director of SVES Dr. S. Sundarrajan dwelt on the challenges faced by engineering students in rural areas and advised the students on how to go about their education.
